Interfaith Alliance Responds to the First Presidential Debate

In response to tonight’s presidential debate, Rabbi Jack Moline, president of Interfaith Alliance, released the following statement:

"Tonight’s debate was a sad commentary on the state of our national dialogue. Despite the best efforts of moderator Lester Holt, discussion of substantive issues was few and far between while the insults were plentiful. We have two more debates to go — let’s use that time to better understand where these candidates want to take this country rather than see who can come up with the best sound bite.”
