Guess & Co. Corporation Shareholders Elect Directors and Name Durham As Headquarters

Durham, North Carolina, Oct. 31, 2017 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Guess & Co. Corporation a luxury, industrial, health care and real estate company based in Durham, North Carolina held its annual meeting for 2017 on Friday, October 27, 2017. Shareholders elected directors and chose to establish Durham, North Carolina as the company's principal place of business. The Board of Directors held a meeting and appointed its senior members and officers for the company. The following individuals were elected to the Guess & Co. Corporation Board of Directors:

Nicole L. Mason, Esq.,

Ms. Mason is a licensed lawyer and former prosecutor. She is licensed in Nebraska, Kansas, Missouri and admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court of Nebraska. She has extensive experience as in-house counsel, outside counsel and as a corporate director. Ms. Mason is Founder, Managing Member, and Presiding Counsel of Mason Counsel Group, LLC, a general counsel law firm based in the Midwest. 

 

Michelle Stewart,

Ms. Stewart is a seasoned business professional. She has arranged financing for businesses as a consultant over the years and has invested in real estate. Prior to joining Guess & Co. Corporation she was a partner and manager in a business financing company. During her career, she has closed over $500 million in transactions.

 

Sarah Reddy Brown, Esq.,

Ms. Reddy Brown earned a degree in Psychology from Clemons University and her law degree from Charlotte School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in North Carolina. Ms. Reddy Brown previously served as an Executive Vice President for Corporate Affairs for Guess & Co. Corporation. Prior to joining Guess & Co. Corporation, Ms. Reddy Brown worked for a law firm in the Charlotte, North Carolina area.

 

Lauren M. Hickman,

Ms. Hickman has been an administrative professional for many years. She served as Interim Chief Administrative Officer and Secretary for a holding company. In that capacity, she had responsibility for parent company and subsidiary administration. She has been employed with a social services department for a large county in North Carolina.

 

Keith Kelly,

Mr. Kelly was District Director for former Congressman, Melvin Watt, and Congresswoman Alma Adams. Currently, Mr. Kelly is Vice-President for the Charlotte, North Carolina, Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Kelly is a graduate of Duke University.

 

Laura Abiodun, MBA,

Along with extensive Director experience with Times Media Group, Ms. Abiodun was previously a Senior Partner at Ernst & Young for Federal Tax Authority, Sovereign Wealth Authority in Financial Services and Global Technology Company and Strategic Alliance Leader. Currently, Ms. Abiodun is Chairman at Bioss, a global network of development consultancies.

 

Mitchell M. Cohen,

Mr. Cohen is currently Co-Founder and CEO of Pursuit Management, an alternative/specialty asset fund. Mr. Cohen spent much of his career in the CFO role, both for family offices and NASDAQ-listed companies. Early in his career, Mr. Cohen was employed for Oppenheimer, Salomon Brothers, and PricewaterhouseCoopers.

 

David Glenn, MBA, PhD.,

Dr. Glenn is currently an executive consultant. He is an experienced global technology and operations executive with more than 30 years’ experience driving technology-enabled business transformations. Dr. Glenn holds a PhD. in global strategy leadership. He earned his PhD. and MBA from George Washington University. He has held key positions with many large companies including IBM, GE and served as Interim CIO of the National Hockey League.

 

Henry L. Ines, MBA

Mr. Ines is a global executive with over 15 years of combined cross border advisory, corporate finance, management consulting and direct investment experiences. He serves as a Venture Partner for the Draper Dragon Innovation Fund and a partner with DFJ Dragon Fund. Mr. Ines served as an analyst with PricewaterhouseCoopers Securities LLC, and an associate consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Mr. Ines holds an MBA from Duke University.
