Summer is Coming! Raise a Glass With Wyoming’s Favorite Cocktail

If Wyoming is raising a glass, it's most likely with this cocktail.

Over the last few years, I've fallen in love with cocktails. Not in a drunken, "woo girl" kind of way. It's more of an appreciation of what it takes to create a perfectly balanced cocktail. Being able to craft a drink with the right amount of acid, sugar and zing from the booze it truly a work of art. My go-to liquors are typically bourbon or gin.

Of course, everyone's got their favorites including the state of Wyoming.

According to Thrillist, Wyoming's favorite cocktail is... well, it's not at all surprising. We love a good Whiskey Sour. This cocktail is simple with just whiskey, lemon juice and simple syrup shaken and poured over ice. We make some mean whiskey in the state of Wyoming so any kind of cocktail featuring it will definitely be on the menu.

The most popular cocktails across the nation are Long Island Iced Tea and Whiskey Sour, followed by Moscow Mule. Classic brunch drinks like Mimosa, Tequila Sunrise, and Bloody Mary were also number ones in nine states.
