Several Skagit County residents were arrested Tuesday as part of a North Puget Sound area drug bust led by federal agents.

Jose Verduzco Urias, 40, who has residences in Snohomish and Sedro-Woolley, is accused of being the leader of a ring that distributed nearly 5 pounds of heroin a week, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Seattle.
