Former Trump chief of staff Reince Priebus to keynote Indiana Chamber dinner

Incoming Chief of Staff Reince Priebus and President-elect Donald Trump embrace on election night in New York.

President Donald Trump's former chief of staff Reince Priebus will keynote the Indiana Chamber of Commerce's legislative dinner in February.

Priebus, also the former chairman of the Republican National Committee, was ousted from Trump's administration in July after a tumultuous six months as chief of staff. His departure came just a week after Trump hired Anthony Scarmucci, whose employment Priebus tried unsuccessfully to block.

Since then, Priebus landed a new job as president of Michael Best and Friedrich LLP. and as a speaker for the Washington Speakers Bureau.

Despite rocky relationships within the president's team, Trump offered his congratulations to Priebus in October on his gig.

Individual tickets for the dinner on Feb. 13 are $165 and tables cost between $1,650 and $2,500. More than 700 business leaders, legislators and government officials will be in attendance, according to the chamber.
