The View will celebrate a pretty big milestone as new episodes of the ABC talk show begin airing next week. And not only does this season mark the exit of controversial co-host Meghan McCain, but it’s also the show’s 25th season. That’s right: The View be a whole quarter of a century old this time around; and to celebrate, the show is welcoming in a revolving door of conservative guest hosts to fill McCain’s seat.

Hold onto your horses, because Season 25 of The View is already shaping up to be one wild ride. According to a press release dropped this morning, the show is “taking a little time” to fill McCain’s seat with co-hosts like Condoleezza Rice, Carly Fiorina and Alyssa Farah.

Utah congresswoman Mia Love will begin the rotation, debuting as co-host of the show when it returns next week. Additional guest co-hosts appearing in the coming months include Rice, Fiorina, Farah, S.E. Cupp, Eboni K. Williams, Mary Katharine Ham, Cameran Eubanks and Gretchen Carlson.

Along with the new guest hosts, a few returning co-hosts will make their way back to the panel to discuss hot topics with “Flashback Fridays.” The historic silver anniversary will kick things off with Star Jones, who will return to co-host the first Friday on Sept. 10.

And that’s not all! Moderator Whoopi Goldberg will return to the studio with co-hosts Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines for the first time since March 2020. Political commentator Ana Navarro will reprise her role as guest co-host, making regular appearances throughout the season to fill in for Goldberg, Behar, Hostin and Haines.

“25 years is such an incredible milestone,” said executive producer Brian Teta. “We have so much planned to honor this amazing platform that Barbara Walters created. I can’t think of a better way to kick off that celebration than by welcoming the co-hosts back to the iconic View table and to have them in front of a live studio audience again. We have some truly exciting plans to celebrate this anniversary all season long.”

The View will also debut a new podcast called Behind The Table, which is set to explore the show’s pop culture history over the years. Dating back to Barbara Walters’ conception of the show, Behind The Table will include interview with celebrities, politicians, and other TV personalities that helped the conversations make waves.

The View will return to ABC on Sept. 7, with new episodes premiering weekdays at 11/10c.
