Milano confirmed to The Hill that she is “gathering information” on a potential challenge to Rep. Tom McClintock in 2024.

Milano, 48, says she splits her time between homes in Bell Canyon (Ventura County) and Truckee. The Truckee home is in the Fourth District, one of the 11 of California’s 53 House districts that are represented by Republicans.

McClintock has held the seat since 2009. The last Democrat in it was Vic Fazio, whose final term ended in 1993.

Milano has been active in her support of progressive politics, particularly feminist causes. She backed Joe Biden for president and protested the confirmation of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. Her viral 2017 #MeToo Tweet kickstarted the social movement to expose sexual harassment.

An actor since childhood, she is best known for roles in the TV series “Who’s the Boss?,” “Charmed” and “Melrose Place.” She has been married since 2009 to Hollywood agent David Bugliari, and they have two children, ages 9 and 6.

An early version of this article incorrectly identified Bell Canyon as being in Los Angeles County. Though the main entrance to the community is in Los Angeles, the residential area is in Ventura County.
