KAHS Student Government donates to Pennies for Patients

During the month of March, Student Government successfully completed the Pennies for Patients fundraiser for Kimball Area High School. They were able to raise a grand total of $4,246.90. Pennies for Patients is used to help fund the LLS.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) is a global leader in the fight against cancer. The LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world, provides free information, and support services, and is the voice for all blood cancer patients seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care.

The funds raised will go to local families fighting blood cancer. KAHS Student Government would also like to thank all those in the community who helped donate.
