IBPS RRB Office Assistant Main exam was conducted today, for aspirants who cleared the preliminary round of the same. The exam took place in various centres all across the country in a single shift.
IBPS RRB Office Assistant Main exam had five sections, namely Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, English Language, Computer Awareness, and General Awareness. The weightage of the exam was 200 marks, for which a composite time of 2 hours was provided.

Candidates felt that the section of Quantitative Aptitude was the toughest and time-consuming, whereas the Computer Awareness section was the easiest, in which direct questions were asked.

Twenty-five questions were asked from Puzzle sets and Seating Arrangement in the form of double row linear seating arrangement, floor- puzzles, based, circular puzzle, linear seating arrangement, and scheduling and thus, these were the most prominent topics of this section. Questions of Coding- Decoding were also included along with some miscellaneous questions.

General Awareness
This section was in the range of easy-moderate according to the difficulty level. As is the trend of banking exams, most of the questions in this section were asked from the current affairs of the last six months. Some questions from Static GK and recent government schemes were also asked.
English Language
This time, the section of the English Language was easy- moderate. There were eight questions from Reading Comprehension, which was based on the theme of Dolphins. Seven questions were asked from Coze Test. Other topics were Sentence Correction, Sentence Rearrangement, Error Spotting, and Fill in the Blanks.

Like every time, this section was the easiest and can contribute towards improving the score of the candidates if they have attempted the questions correctly. Topics such as the Operating System of Computers had the maximum weightage in this section.
The overall good attempt of the paper is expected to be around 150-160.
