Senate Minority Whip Joseph Pennacchio and Cumberland County Republican Chairman Michael Testa, Jr. will serve as Honorary State Chairs of Donald Trump’s New Jersey re-election campaign.
“Our New Jersey Trump Victory leadership team will work to elect Republicans across the state,” said Trump campaign manager Brad Parscale and Republican National Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel in a statement released by the campaign.
Former Gov. Chris Christie was noticeably not named as a state chair.
According to the statement, Trump has added 121,000 jobs in New Jersey and lowered the unemployment rate from 4.6% to 3.2%.
“While President Obama lost 31,300 manufacturing jobs, President Trump has added 8,800 – a truly remarkable turnaround,” Parscale and McDaniel said.
