White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders on Tuesday said she expects Americans are going to be “begging” for another term of President Trump.

During an interview with Hugh Hewitt, Sanders said she has a lot of confidence that it “shouldn’t be an issue for the president to be re-nominated” by the GOP.

She said the president’s first nine months in office have been “incredibly successful.”

“And I think the next three and a half, or two and a half, three years are going to be equally as successful,” she said.

Trump and congressional Republicans are currently pushing for tax reform after failing to repeal and replace ObamaCare.

Senate Republicans are pushing forward with a budget that is key to their goal to pass tax reform this year.

Trump on Monday held a press conference with Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), in which McConnell said he and Trump have the “same agenda” and noted he has been “friends and acquaintances” with Trump for a long time.
