'Birthday twins!' Today co-hosts Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie host pink princess party for daughters Poppy and Vale - who were born on the same day, just one year apart

Today show co-hosts and close pals Jenna Bush Hager and Savannah Guthrie are on the fast track to having their daughters share the same tight bond as their moms after throwing a joint birthday party for the young girls on Monday evening.

Jenna, 36, and Savannah, 46, celebrated their daughters, who were born on the same day, just one year apart, with a pink-themed princess party at one of their homes in Soho, New York City, after sharing adorable Instagram tributes earlier that day.

Poppy Louise Hager — named after her mother's nickname for the little girl's great grandfather George H.W. Bush — turned three years old on Monday, while Vale Guthrie Feldman turned four.

Jenna and Savannah, who each have two children, shared the same adorable pictures from the party on Instagram to show how their 'birthday twins' spent their special day.

'Birthday twins party together!!! Our tradition #Valeandpoppy,' Savannah wrote in her Instagram caption, while Jenna gushed: 'Birthday tradition with birthday besties. How wonderful life is with these two in the world!'

In the sweet snaps, the two tots are all smiles as the give each other a big hug while sitting with a large pink birthday cake in front of them just waiting to be sliced. 

Included in the picture montage was also a fun photo of the two mothers standing over their daughters with big grins on their faces. The birthday girls were also seen grinning with glee while wearing sparkly pink princess crowns.

Jenna and Savannah's daughters have been close for years, enjoying the same firm friendship as their mothers, who not only work together, but are also neighbors - and have spoken in the past about how frequently they spend time together away from the bright lights of the Today studio. 

The women also chose to make similar tribute to their daughters on social media earlier in the day, with both moms posting adorable pictures of their daughters ahead of their evening festivities to celebrate their birthdays.

'Happiest Third Birthday to our spicy Poppy Louise! What was life like before this hilarious, spunky, kind little force?? I don’t want to remember,' Jenna wrote in a heartfelt post about her second daughter.  

The co-host shared a five adorable pictures of the three-year-old including one where she is stuffing her face with what looks to be birthday cake. 

Other pictures show Poppy playing in the pool and her surrounded by a variety of stuffed animals. 

Over the weekend, it appears Savannah's eldest, Vale, opted for a Wonder Woman-themed party after she shared cute pictures of the family's birthday festivities.

'My little Wonder Woman is FOUR today!' Savannah wrote in her Instagram post on Monday. 

The mother-of-two is all grins while holding her daughter in a ball pit where they both are wearing Wonder Woman attire fit for the superhero birthday theme. 

Included in the post was a picture of Savannah's entire family, including her husband Michael Feldman and the couple's youngest child, Charles Max.

Happy: It appears Vale asked for a Wonder Woman birthday part to celebrate being four years old. The entire family, including Michael Feldman and son Charles, were dressed in that attire

Vale also got a birthday cake covered in white icing and yellow polka dots to reign in her birthday. 

Since both of the daughters' birthdays fell on a Monday, the busy co-hosts had to rely on celebrating in the evening after work. 

But celebrating their daughters birthday's on the same day isn't the only reason why Jenna and Savannah have become such close friends. 

The two women have been working together on the NBC show since Savannah officially joined the team in 2011.

Both families even live within walking distance to each other in Soho, NYC, making it easy for the the children to get together for play dates. 

'Savannah is my next door neighbor (literally, we can see into each other’s apartments!) and our girls are such dear friends,' Jenna revealed in 2016.

Daddy's girl: Savannah also shared an adorable picture of Vale with her father 

The moms in the past have shared pictures of their daughters on play dates together around the city. 

Recently, the Today show anchors all took their children to the Museum of Ice Cream in New York, where all the toddlers were pictured getting covered in sticky sweets while enjoying a day out with their parents.

Savannah and Jenna have gone on outing away from work including one play date last year where they took their children to the fair.

The young kids also spent Halloween together in the past by trick-or-treating around their neighborhood.

Vale and Poppy's respective birthdays come just a few days after the Today show team threw an on-air celebration for co-anchor Hoda Kotb, who turned 54 on Thursday. 

Hoda then went on to have her own fun-filled celebration with family and friends over the weekend, sharing adorable videos and images of herself living it up with the group, as well as a sweet clip of her one-year-old daughter Haley Joy singing Happy Birthday to her 'mama' while being cradled in her arms.
