Two recent letters from Steve Olson and Bob Uppgaard speak about our president claiming that "The Declaration of Independence and constitutional law changed that truth for hundreds of years, but now face challenges, in truly frightening ways, by an emerging lawlessness of authoritarianism in an ever-tightening grip called Trumpism" and that "The United States, which has historically championed the free world, is led by a president who exacerbates popular divisions and heaps scorn on democratic institutions."

Neither provide any proof or facts to back up their words but, like typical leftists, they want us to believe what they feel without the benefit of proving anything they say.

Mr. Olson provides his opinion but no fact or truth.

In looking up information on the Madeleine Albright book, I ran across a website, goodreads.com, that reviewed her book. What I found is that in Mr. Uppgaard's letter, beginning with his second paragraph, is essentially word for word lifted from this website review. Obviously no original thought from him but parroting what someone else wrote. Some might call that plagiarism. At the very least we know he did not offer any original thought of his own.

Feelings and mimicking are easy, providing facts is much harder and not within their grasp.
