Dr. Feulner's background includes serving many roles during his five decades in business. A retired think-tank executive who was a public affairs fellow and research analyst during the 1960s, and administrative assistant to Republican Philip M. Crane of the U.S. House of Representatives, campaign manager for the Crane for Congress Committee, and executive director for the U.S. House Republican Study Committee during the 1970s, he then spent then next two decades as the chairman of the Institute of European Defense and Strategic Studies from 1977 to 1996, before serving as the counselor to the vice presidential candidate Jack Kemp in 1996.

Since 2013, Dr. Feulner has been chairing the Asian Studies Center Heritage Foundation and has been a Chung Ju-Yung fellow of the Heritage Foundation. He has also served in countless other roles, including on the advisory board for the public diplomacy collaborative at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University since 2009, and as a distinguished visiting professor at Hanyang University in Seoul, Republic of Korea, since 2001. A past director of the Sequoia Bank, the Council for National Policy, the Acton Institute, and several other institutions, Dr. Feulner has been serving as a lifetime trustee at Regis University for the past four years. He has been a trustee for numerous other organizations in the past such as the American Council of Germany, as vice chairman and board of directors of the Roe Foundation, and in countless other roles. A longtime member of numerous organizations, including the American Economics Association, the Mont Pelerin Society, and the Philadelphia Society, he has also received dozens of awards and recognitions, recently including a Presidential Gold Medal from the Czech Republic in 2014, as well as inclusion in every edition of Who's Who in America since 1987, and many editions of Who's Who in American Politics and Who's Who in the World.

Adding author to his resume with the publication of his first book, "Congress and the New International Economic Order" in 1976, Dr. Feulner authored several others since that time, including "The March of Freedom" in 1998, "Getting America Right" in 2016 and "The American Spirit" in 2012. He has contributed many articles to professional journals, newspapers, and other publications over the years as well. He holds a BS from Regis University, MBA from the University of Pennsylvania, and PhD from the University of Edinburgh, as well as 10 honorary degrees from various institutions.
