Jerry Lamphere of Big Beaver United Methodist Church in Troy recently presented four large bags of donated items – including gloves, hats, scarves, bathroom supplies and socks – to be distributed to homeless veterans.
Birmingham-Troy American Legion Post 14 Auxiliary President Pegge Fritzam thanked Lamphere and his church for their donations.
“It is a pleasure to be working side-by-side with you and your members,” Fritzam said. “The Auxiliary thanks everyone who provided supplies, helped and gave to veterans.”
