The White House is plagued with mice and cockroaches.

The gross infestation was revealed in hundreds of 2017 requests for repairs, equipment and pest control for the building via the US General Services Administration, which looks after maintenance of the West Wing and East Wing.

Mice have been an ongoing problem for the past couple of years now. The rodents are infiltrating the White House Navy mess food area as well as the White House Situation Room.

Meanwhile, at least four people have reported cockroach infestations on the grounds.

There’s even a complaint of ants in the chief of staff’s office.

Over the summer, the White House underwent a huge restoration project.

The president took a 17-day vacation starting while workers fix the 27-year-old air conditioning, re-carpet areas and upgrade IT systems.

White House spokeswoman Lindsay Walters told reporters at the time: ‘The HVAC systems are 27 years old, but due to the 24/7, 365-day use a year, the estimated age of the system based off of usage is 81-years-old.’

Trump allegedly said the White House ‘is a real dump’ while chatting to some members at a course recently, reports Golf.com.

It is not known if the president made the comment in jest, but a White House spokesperson denies he said this.

That doesn’t matter, though, because it was enough for Trump haters to jump on at the time.

Chelsea Clinton tweeted: ‘Thank you to all the White House ushers, butlers, maids, chefs, florists, gardeners, plumbers, engineers & curators for all you do every day.’

Rumors he’s not a fan of Washington DC are compounded by the fact that he’s already made multiple trips to his golf course since becoming president.
